Borjan Shoes MM Alam Road Lahore

Borjan shoes has maintained its reputation of being a trend setter in the retail industry of Pakistan by entering into a partnership with Pantera Energy for conversion of their retail stores to clean and green renewable energy. This partnership has entered into a pilot with MM Alam road branch of Borjan shoes becoming the first Lithium-ion solar hybrid run retail outlet in Pakistan.
Borjan needed a solution that would reduce operating costs, eliminate gensets and provide a long-term assurance in energy needs and environmental stability. They wanted to accelerate their sustainability efforts by improving energy efficiency and switching to solar for clean, green and renewable energy.

Pantera Energy entered into a strategic partnership with Borjan and installed 20 kW AlphaESS Solar plus Storage solution along with 30KW ongrid solution at their MM Alam road branch in Lahore. Artificial Intelligence (AI) based software creates an energy mix to provide maximum power at the lowest cost. German Award winning design compliments the shop’s contemporary design and offset 80% electricity usage from the national grid. High efficiency 400W Solar panels are installed on the rooftop to power its operations day and night. UPS function of the AlphaESS provides backup power in case of load-shedding and power outages eliminating the need of diesel generator.

While Borjan had a strong environmental commitment to switching to solar, the fiscal benefits are hard to miss. Pantera Energy solar plus storage system is expected to offset 80% of Borjan’s electricity needs, completely eliminating their electricity costs within the first year of operation, while reaping substantial financial and environmental benefits for years to come.
